Duncan Arthur Ray

Over 40 years in the workplace brings knowledge and experience that cannot be bought but can certainly be imparted, assisting in resolving often complex and technical issues at the coalface for clients, supporting them, advising them and guiding them through the minefield of legislation and best practice standards.  Combine that knowledge and experience with skilful application and academic achievement and you have available to you an individual who understands and appreciates business, commerce, law and the very fine line between success and failure.

I take a pragmatic approach to health and safety in the workplace and understand commercial sensitivity as well as proportionate action without blurring the line of distinction between right and wrong; as the law knows no latitude. While always knowing my limits and when to bring in specialist advice to assist me, I continue to provide a first class service on projects of any size and scale, confident in a positive outcome.

Professionally competent with a diverse range of skills; Steve is also a qualified trainer and instructor who adds value, not only to Raydar Safety Ltd but to our clients as well and regularly carries out site safety inspections over a range of new build, refurbishment, maintenance and civil engineering projects.

Michael Bamford – Tech IOSH

Scaffold Safety Inspector/Temporary Works Advisor/Trainer

Michael brings exceptional skill and experience to the team as a former advanced scaffolder and provides a level of inspection, advice and training which sets him apart from others with his work at height knowledge and engaging delivery as a qualified instructor.

Mrs. Jenny Grenaghan

PA to the Managing Director

Mrs. Jenny Grenaghan

Jenny provides an invaluable PA role to the Managing Director and is responsible for streamlining and automating the accounts system, quality management system and operational organisation of the business, along with the MD.  Originally from New Zealand, Jenny started her career within the refurbishment industry working initially as PA to the MD of a London based company for 10 years before pursuing a career in recruitment. She has over 8 years’ experience in transport, logistics and warehousing recruitment and moved to the Rossendale Valley in 2015 and continued working in the recruitment industry in Manchester. Jenny is a highly motivated team player with a wide range of organisational, administrative and secretarial skills and prides herself in delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
